I never cared for anything else from that line. I think they were aimed at a younger demo. [img]wink.gif[/img]

That's right, Jen or Jens, he was. I recall mutual photos of him fighting a Metaluna Mutant over a can o' Coke! And ya the rest of the line wasn't so interesting...like the boy with the airplane wings for arms? WTF? It's like something out of Timothy Leary's version of Reading Rainbow!

Speaking of kid's stuff, I bought one of the new Bionicles recently for some much-needed joint bits. Like the other Lego line this will probably be all I've get from it, despite some realllly well designed pieces on the guy. (it's the white one, called Abu Goli Booloo or some funky mess)

Good lord CM! Are we sharing the same brain or what? 2 weeks ago I bought this guy on sale at Meijer for $5.99! I think these Bionicles are the best of the lot. Fully posable and a great swing action feature. I think I may get the black one to go with him.

Oh I saw those too! Mine's from the more humanoid sets...it's this guy, but I wish I had a glamour shot of him. This is bad angle...

He's gotta cool looking mask. All the little body parts are really detailed, pistons and all. After seeing the rest of the line I'm starting to get interested in the blue oceanic one. These guys would look great repainted as ancient, weathered stone or metal. It looks like they really improved on the anatomy and design of these, compared to the first Bionicle run.

Besides the aquamarine one, then I saw this guy too on the Bio site. Love the robotic head..
